Cookie policy
The short version: Devdwell sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and does no advertising or tracking. Two things are stored on your device, both because you asked for them. Everything below is checkable in your own browser.

What is stored on your device
Two keys, both in local storage, both first-party, neither used to identify you or to follow you anywhere. Local storage is not a cookie: it is never transmitted to us or to anyone else — it stays in your browser and is readable only by this site.
| Key | Where | Kept for | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
dd-consent | Local storage | Until you clear it | Records the choice you made in the cookie notice, so you are not asked again on every page. Storing a consent decision is itself strictly necessary, which is why it needs no consent of its own. |
sienna-accessibility | Local storage | Until you clear it | Remembers the settings you pick in the accessibility toolbar — larger text, higher contrast, reduced motion and so on — so they survive a page change. Written only if you use the toolbar. |
Cookies
There are none. This site sets no cookies of any kind — not essential ones, not analytics, not advertising, not social. You can confirm it: open your browser's developer tools on any page here, look under Application → Cookies, and the list fordevdwell.com will be empty.
We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight, Hotjar, or any other measurement or remarketing tag. If that ever changes, the notice at the foot of the page will ask first, and nothing will load until you agree — analytics is switched off by default and stays off unless you turn it on yourself.
Third parties
Loading a page here contacts no one but us. The site, its fonts, its images and the accessibility toolbar are all served from devdwell.com, so no other company sees your IP address in the course of a normal visit.
There is one exception, and it only happens if you ask for it. The accessibility toolbar can translate itself, and choosing a language other than English fetches that translation file from jsDelivr, a public open-source CDN. That request reveals your IP address to them, as any request to any server does. Nothing else on the site talks to them.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes requests on our behalf and keeps short-lived security and availability logs. That is a hosting function, not tracking, and it happens for every site on the internet behind a CDN.
Your control
Change your choice
Use the button below, or the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of any page. You can change it as often as you like, and withdrawing is exactly as easy as agreeing.
Clear what is stored
Clearing site data for
devdwell.comin your browser removes both keys immediately. Nothing is kept anywhere else, so there is nothing left behind.Browser-level controls
Every major browser can block or clear storage per site, and can send a Global Privacy Control signal. Since we run no tracking, there is nothing here for those settings to block — but they will work as expected regardless.
Ask us anything
Write to info@devdwell.com and we will answer any question about what is stored, or confirm in writing that nothing is.
If this changes
If we ever add analytics or an embedded third party, this page is updated before it goes live, the date at the top changes, and the consent notice reappears so the choice is made again rather than assumed from a previous visit. Related reading: the privacy policy and theterms of use.
